The Manager, Global HRIS leverages technology to improve the employee experience, build automation, increase productivity and assists in the development and implementation of the HR technology roadmap. The role will assist with setting the HRIS systems strategy and implement a robust people data analytics/reporting process. In addition, this role serves as the day-to-day subject matter expert of the HRIS system which includes the setup, daily administration, security administration, business process design, end user experience, and reporting/analytics administration. The Manager, Global HRIS will also partner with leaders to ensure the HRIS technology and process are compliant with all labor and government regulations.

Job Duties:

  • Provides strategic consultation and recommendations in the development and automation of HRIS systems and data architecture to improve the user experience, maximize productivity, and support the Company goals.
  • Acts as the liaison between HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders for the HRIS systems to meet the human capital technology needs of the organization.
  • Oversees the regular day-to-day administrative tasks of the setup, training, maintenance, and upgrades of the HRIS system.
  • Responsible for all HRIS reporting and the development of dashboards for reporting key metrics.
  • Establishes service level agreements (SLA) with internal and external clients for the successful delivery of HRIS services.
  • Evaluates, assesses, and implements operational improvement opportunities leveraging automation to enhance user experience and company productivity. (e.g continuous audit, self-service model, etc.).
  • Coordinates with corporate IT to install, implement, modify, and upgrade HRIS software and applications to meet changing business and technology. Builds and maintains project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules for any updates, changes, or additions to the HRIS platform.
  • Identifies training needs of end users and train internal customers on HRIS system functionality, utilization, new processes, and procedures.
  • Ensures that the HRIS systems are compliant with data security and privacy, including user permissions/access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for users.
  • Develops, prepares, and analyzes custom functions and documents these within the HRIS systems inclusive of automated queries, filters, macros, and reports. Performs data analysis, data updates, exports, imports, etc.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS data management and security, technology, and analytics.
  • Researches and resolves HRIS problems such as data transfer issues, process flaws, data discrepancies and recommend solutions or alternatives to meet business needs.
  • Updates data and maintains data integrity in the HRIS systems.
  • Keeps abreast of emerging HRIS technologies and the potential application in order to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in an HRIS role is required. At least two (2) years in a people management role. Proven experience with implementing across key HRIS areas: Payroll, Time & Attendance, Recruiting Performance Management, Succession Planning, Compensation & Benefits, Learning Management, Case Management etc. Mastery level experience with Microsoft Excel required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field desirable
  • 10+ years of HRIS experience with large HRIS systems (ADP, Workday and/or UKG) in a multi-state and international environment. At least 1 major end-to-end HRIS deployment on an international scale in across multiple regions (US & Canada, Europe, LATAM, Asia). At least three (3) years in a people management role. Experience with BI and building queries using SQL.
  • Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP) Certification or Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Microsoft Excel Professional or related certifications.
