WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON 

Do you love helping others succeed? Have a knack for taking complex or fragmented ideas and turning them into digestible training materials? Have a strong teaching or instructional background? Then this role may be for you! As a Learning and Development specialist, you will work with senior L&D members to bring new hires through our robust and comprehensive onboarding process. Specifically, you will focus on the first few weeks of a new hire’s Qualia career. You will host and moderate discussions about real estate, the title industry, and the Qualia product line. Between onboarding classes, you will create, audit, and edit training content to empower all Qualians with foundational industry and product knowledge. We're looking for a person who is a self-starter, highly collaborative worker, and has the ability to context-switch. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule, facilitate, and host a structured two week onboarding plan for Qualia new hires. Strong pedagogy skills and knowledge are preferred
  • Support new hires during their critical first weeks with the company
  • Communicate the mission, goals, and values of Qualia while facilitating industry and product discussions
  • Must currently have, or have the ability to acquire, proficient knowledge of the Qualia product suite with an emphasis on Qualia Core
  • Work closely with People Ops and hiring managers to ensure new hires are smoothly handed off from orientation
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success enablement to ensure a smooth transition to role-specific training
  • Create, update, and maintain LMS (Lessonly) content and infrastructure
  • Communicate with internal departments to assess new needs from hiring managers

YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH

  • 2 years experience in a relevant instructional or teaching role
  • Demonstrated experience with differentiated instruction
  • Great presentation skills that can connect Qualia’s mission to the broader industry and product
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with modern instructional styles and techniques
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and agile top-performer with a track record of consistently executing on tasks and projects
  • Experience with creating lesson plans, presentation materials, and assessments
  • Ability to drive engagement in a remote setting
  • Strong team player but still a self-starter
  • Technically fluent and curious
  • Strong interdepartmental communication skills
  • Prior experience in the real estate/ title industry is a plus
  • Experience training adult learners on nuanced topics is a plus
  • Prior LMS experience is a plus
