About the Team 

The mission of our Talent Attraction and Development team is threefold:  make p44 a career destination of choice; deliver high-impact career development; and fuel growth and innovation from a diverse perspective. This is an exceptionally exciting time to join our Talent Development team, as we are launching a number of initiatives to support our rapidly-growing global organization.  

World-class new hire onboarding programming is critical to p44’s growth, and as a Talent Development team member, you will make an immediate impact in these areas by serving as the first training touchpoint point of contact for new p44 new teammates. As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will influence the growth and trajectory of all new team members providing training on foundational skills and principles necessary for new hire ramp acceleration.  

Key Accountabilities 

  • Own end to end new hire training programming, encompassing: coordination, communication, design, delivery, execution, measurement, evaluations, and iterations. This includes:
    • Identifying and updating key learning outcomes and objectives 
    • Regularly meeting with stakeholders and SMEs to ensure training content is up to date 
    • Creating inclusive, engaging learning and interactives and regularly assessing effectiveness to make updates as needed 
    • Facilitating week-long onboarding programming in front of various diverse audiences 
    • Supporting knowledge transfer of product/technical and behavioral-based skills 
    • Evaluating training effectiveness through surveys and quizzing 
    • Developing fluency in p44 terminology, products, partnerships, team responsibilities and more, to develop a well-rounded approach and perspective 
    • Being a champion for learning for all p44 team members, supporting their career development acceleration 
  • Your immediate focus will be new hire onboarding. Additional future needs may include continuous job-specific training, product certification efforts, behavioral skills support, and more. For example: 
    • Supporting one-off training initiatives as needed via program coordination, facilitation, creation of reference materials/job aids, and similar training-related activities 
    • Collaborating with the broader Talent Attraction & Development function to support holistic DEI, talent attraction, and large-scale talent development efforts 

Requirements & Preferred Skills 

  • 2+ years served in a training- or learning and development-related capacity, with proven success in live and virtual training environments 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written 
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills 
  • Self-starter who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership of finding information, building connections, and digging into concepts 
  • Agility in receiving and implementing feedback 
  • Ability to form and manage global stakeholder and SME partnerships 
  • Foundational knowledge of ADDIE 
  • Preferred:   
    • Foundational knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design principles, and Kirkpatrick evaluation methods 
    • Previous experience in logistics/supply chain 
    • Fluency in Microsoft product suite (Office 365, Outlook, etc) 

Travel 

  • Travel may be expected up to 25% of the year, depending on team expansion & on-the-ground needs
