The Opportunity:

Coleman Research is currently looking for an experienced Learning & Development Manager with expertise in creating and executing end-to-end scalable programs for the training and development of managers and employees at all levels. This role ranges in responsibility from strategic planning to tactical execution including analyzing organizational needs, creating alignment with business strategy, and day-to-day operations. This role will be focused on delivering employee development initiatives in a multi-location hybrid/remote environment, through innovative design, program alignment to core skills and competencies across roles, and cross-organizational collaboration. Location:

Remote/Hybrid:  Raleigh, NC or NYC

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement learning strategies and programs that are aligned with our Company values and business objectives, beginning with a curriculum that meets the following immediate needs:
  • Enhanced onboarding of new hires in a hybrid/remote environment
  • Fundamentals of people management
  • Role-specific training for Team Leads in Client Management
  • Professional development and career growth support to all employees
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, gather and assess training needs, and develop a roadmap for building out the L&D function
  • Partner with subject matter experts across the organization to enhance existing training and co-design new learning solutions
  • Facilitate learning programs and workshops using a variety of instructional techniques and formats (e-learning courses, job-shadowing, coaching, workshops and more
  • Further develop our existing LMS platform by designing and developing more courses, enhancing current courses and converting content to online delivery
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to build up our internal capabilities for delivering ongoing training
  • Support the Chief People Officer and key stakeholders in driving a culture of continuous learning by providing L&D best practices, new ideas and practical solutions
  • Serve as the company’s global point of contact for training and development requests
  • Craft reports, dashboards, and surveys to capture meaningful learning insights to help drive organizational change
  • Analyze data to continually improve the learning experience of employees
  • Track budgets and negotiate terms with external vendors, where appropriate to utilize their services to augment our internal offerings

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree or other advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience of developing and implementing learning and development programs and strategies
  • Experience in project management in the area of learning and development
  • Experience in analyzing complex information, making recommendations and charting a course of action for the business
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a knack for finding program solutions across role and geographic differences
  • Innovative thinker and continuous learner with a positive mindset and proven ability to drive change with a "can do" attitude; results-minded and action-oriented
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Adept in change management with demonstrated results
