The Learning and Development (L&D) Facilitator is responsible for facilitating both in-person instructor-led and virtual technical and soft skills training throughout the organization and at every level of leadership. The L&D Facilitator may also participate in one or more phases of instructional design.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review training materials prior to training. Research, observe, and utilize business area resources and processes to ensure current knowledge of the expectations and course objectives.
• Facilitate training in a variety of mediums including in-person instructor-led and virtual.
• Manage the classroom through effective facilitation processes that enable efficient delivery of curriculum and a training environment conducive to learning.
• Guide participants through the content utilizing various facilitation techniques, adjusting style as necessary.
• Assess class performance and curriculum and delivery effectiveness.
• Work with leaders to support participants' transfer of learning from the classroom to the workplace.
• Independently use sound judgement to address participants' performance gaps during training.
• Participate with the L&D instructional designers in development of learning practices, tools, technology, and learning solutions.
• Reviews participant class evaluations and analyzes trends. Makes recommendations and implements solutions to address trends.
• Participate in post class evaluation process including assessing participant job performance and determining business impacts and results.

• Audit existing content on an ongoing basis to ensure lessons are current, effective, and meet business needs.
• Conduct Train the Trainer Workshops and provide coaching to HR team members who facilitate training.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):

• Bachelor's degree: degree in instructional design, education, or other learning discipline preferred.
• 2+ years of facilitation experience with at least 2+ years of facilitation in Leadership content
• Ability to create an inclusive learning environment
• Expert facilitation skills. Able to read an audience and flex according to learner needs
• Ability to facilitate virtually that ensures audience engagement
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize work and complete in a timely manner.
• Effectively assess and coach performance.
• Working knowledge of ADDIE
