Lead Technical Sourcer

The Role
As we continue to rapidly grow, we are looking for a Lead Technical Sourcer to join our team. If you are someone that is passionate about making an impact, inspired by solving challenges, and want to be part of a company that is re-imagining the healthcare experience, we’d like to talk with you.
In this position, you will
- Partner with Cedar leaders to thoroughly understand technical positions and recruiting needs then develop innovative pipelining strategies to identify and guarantee a steady stream of qualified candidates
- Act as a recruiting consultant to Cedar leaders, leveraging internal data and external market research to set hiring expectations
- Work with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders including hiring managers, interviewers, program managers, and recruiting operations
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key data sets (top of funnel metrics, outreach performance, response & pass-through rates, real-time record of candidate pipelines, etc) to continually uplevel team performance
- Create compelling messaging to highlight the technical challenges, culture, and opportunities at Cedar
- Conduct phone interviews with engineering candidates
- Mentor other Sourcers and direct them to better practices
- Develop pipelines of underrepresented talent
- Drive outbound and inbound sourcing efforts, that engage active and passive candidates
- Implement process automation to reduce workload and ensure scalability over time
- Create and implement new processes to improve sourcing effectiveness
- Help hire, build, and onboard a team of Sourcers
About you:
- You lead sourcing work with a strong ownership mentality, focused on delivering value (we don’t have a hard requirement, but generally this comes with at least 4-5 years of professional technical sourcing experience)
- You are self-motivated, action-oriented, and eager to learn - you are constantly looking for opportunities to improve your craft and are receptive to feedback
- You have an interest and passion for working in a metrics-driven or data-driven environment
- You are able to quickly understand the core tenants of complex technical concepts and apply that understanding to build an effective sourcing strategy
- You are a strong networker and excellent communicator - and are able to build rapport and long-term relationships with candidates and hiring teams
- You have experience in advanced talent search techniques and know how to get the most value from Applicant Tracking Systems (we use Greenhouse)
