About This Job

The IT - College & Outreach Strategist is responsible for the development and execution of technical talent sourcing & outreach strategies and programs. This role is responsible for bringing creative and practical solutions to the IT Leadership team in order to enhance our ability to identify and acquire the top talent needed to achieve IT results. This position also works closely with IT leadership and Talent Management in the development and execution of Information Technology position-specific strategies to support succession planning, internal and external talent identification, and organizational design and alignment. He/she will work with individual IT managers to map ideal entry level positions with potential college candidate's technical skill sets. This position works under limited supervision and direction, and incumbents will often influence substantial strategic decisions.

Essential Functions
  • Plan, execute and oversee IT wide strategic talent programs including, IT internship, Outreach/High School programs, alternative sourcing programs (ie: LaunchCode) and other key initiatives/programs to support IT & corporate blue chips.
  • Create and execute the strategic plans for the IT-wide college recruiting, alternative sourcing, onboarding, pre-join retention strategies
  • Identify and develop relationships with organizations in the community and colleges to recruit from
  • Setting the vision and executing on our sourcing strategies by leveraging various techniques as well as technologies to expand our personal and digital presence
  • Execute on the collegiate relations and entry level pipeline sourcing strategies to ensure alignment with IT's goals and strategic priorities which will require strong project/program management skills.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for targeted undergraduate schools/organizations, STEM related events, high school programs, etc.
  • Foster recruiting partnerships with our internal clients including hiring managers, school alumni and employee resource groups ensuring we target and identify the most diverse talent.
  • Works directly with the IT DAP Manager and Talent Management to post, screen and interview candidates for staff openings.
  • Coordination and oversee the entire IT summer internship program with goes year-round.
  • Develops and publishes program metrics and reports providing details on program execution vs. plan.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
  • Ability to proactively build relationships with internal stakeholders and external talent partners to find and attract top talent
  • Consultative approach to educating partners on candidate attraction and experience process
  • Proven track record in identifying and leveraging diversity, equity, and inclusion partnerships to attract talent
  • Advanced knowledge of campus recruiting processes including sourcing, pipelining and selection of a broad, diverse population of applicants
  • Excellent customer service skills with superior follow-through
  • Ability to effectively present information to all levels, from Professors to students, and to various audience sizes
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Well-developed ability to review and understand data, identify trends, and use metrics to drive decision-making
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time during peak season to local and regional events and campuses
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Intermediatelevel proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 4+ yearsrecruitingexperience required
  • Proven track record in relationship management, sales and/or business development
