Job Summary:
As Influencer Coordinator, the position is responsible for collaborating to develop the brand’s overall strategy to grow influencer strategy featuring micro influencers all the way through to celebrities. We’re looking for someone hard-working and proactive with a proven track record in influencer relations, social media trends, influencer driven events, and online blogger/influencer campaigns. The position is typically based in Gardena, CA but will start remotely, reporting to the Influencer Marketing Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Creatively and proactively engage influencers and advocates to drive brand conversations and advocacy.
- Collaborate with Influencer Associate Manager on performance program- identifying, reaching out to, and collaborating with a targeted set of influencers nationally – with focus on testing different content types, influencer types, and platforms. Programs include both paid and gifted collaborations.
- Work closely within the team and help develop and manage influencer initiatives in digital space: strategy, planning, contract negotiation & implementation of new launches, collaborations and events.
- Assist with ordering products, creating unique discount codes, and tracking results.
- Analyze and synthesize quantitative data (e.g., summarizing effectiveness of influencer outreach initiatives, evaluating consumer engagement levels, etc.).
- Interpret understanding of results, be able to manage large spreadsheets of collaboration information and draw insights from existing and previous partnerships.
- Maintain and establish industry contacts with digital influencers and bloggers across parent, lifestyle and pet verticals.
- Have a deep understanding of influencer marketing process from outreach to negotiation, product tracking, content review and approvals, and tracking results.
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in influencer and/or talent relations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of social content and social best practices, an eye on competitive marketplace and staying up to date with social trends.
- An open-minded team player with a collaborative attitude. Self-starter driven to make your work and the work of those around you better and a problem-solving attitude.
- Eagerness and willingness to learn and ability to multitask, manage their own time efficiently, and handle fast paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs and finding way around social channels.
- Proven understanding of social media best practices and a strategic approach to a wide range of new and emerging platforms
- Ability to track and leverage KPIs, while understanding the rapidly changing social media landscape
- Experience with forms of new media including, but not limited to: website, social media, video, mobile.
- Takes ownership of work and mistakes, learns from them, and continues to improve.
Preferred:
- Prior experience using Influencer CRM platforms like Grin or AspireIQ
- Reporting experience
- Excel experience and familiarity with formulas, pivot tables, etc.
