What we’re looking for
As the HR Operations Manager - Employee Service Center, you’ll drive HR initiatives and projects and represent the HR Department internally and externally, requiring a high level of composure, flexibility, and proven customer service skills. You are the gatekeeper and leader for: our employee service center which is the first line of information for all employees, personnel records, ad hoc reporting, and anything else the team needs support on. You will have the opportunity to support the development and implementation of systems and processes that enhance the employee experience.
What you’ll do
- Lead a team of HR Coordinators including training & mentoring, delegating tasks, as well as coaching and performance management
- Bring in high volume employee service center best practices
- Assist with creation and enforcement of SLA’s
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of data information in our HRIS
- Partner with HR Leadership Team to champion initiatives, implement processes, and set an example as advocates for the employees in the business
- Help to triage and respond to employee inquiries on people-related matters
- Continuously evaluate processes and find areas for implementing efficiencies and improvement
- Generate and distribute regularly scheduled and ad hoc reporting, as needed
- Understand business needs, anticipate changes, and propose creative solutions
- Prioritize tasks and appropriate levels of urgency as needed
- Respond to emails and voicemails within 24 business hours
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Provide professional and concise communication with all stakeholders in the business
- Availability to occasionally work outside normal business hours
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the HR Leadership Team
Skills you’ll need
- 4+ years of experience in an HR Operations department, HR Service Center or other high volume HR areas; team leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to assess a process and make impactful changes based off your understanding of HR best practice
- High attention to detail and organization
- Proactive, driven, able to work independently with multiple demands
- High sense of confidentiality
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a high volume and fast-paced environment efficiently and effectively
- Empathy, Leadership & Innovation
- Passion for elevating the team and anticipating needs
- Skilled with technology and able to quickly adapt to new systems
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work from home and resides in one of the followings states: AK, AL, AZ, CA, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IA, IL, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, MN, MT, NC, NH, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, or WY
