About the job
The Red Hat North America (NA) People (HR) team is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our growing Global Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Sales team. In this role, you'll collaborate with our global HR team Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Global HR Business Partner, and Field Enablement teams. You will actively partner with leaders and associates to deliver key HR team programs within the customer groups you support. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Connect effective HR team solutions to the key challenges that need to be solved around talent management, new and emerging leader development, performance goal planning, career development, compensation planning and recognition, and employee relations activities
  • Partner with the CoEs, your roles and segment groups, and global HRBP associates to provide effective and impactful HR solutions aligned to the global sales strategy
  • Message the value and business impact of core HR programs to leaders to positively influence the associate experience
  • Use internal tools and dashboards to identify business trends
  • Ensure alignment with senior HRBPs and extend scalable HR team solutions across the business to support alignment
  • Coordinate with HRBP to ensure successful delivery of functional strategy
  • Provide updates and escalations to HRBPs on associate sentiment, functional strategy or solutions impact, etc.


What you will bring

  • 5+ years of directly related professional experience
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex, strategic ideas or concepts in a business and user-friendly manner
  • Ability to work successfully in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to work in and manage ambiguity, including dealing with issues, problems, and events that don't always have a process, system, or solution in place
  • Derive energy from working with and developing new and emerging people leader capabilities below executive levels
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to deliver through influence, either through storytelling or data to inspire decision-making
  • Ability to identify and prioritize high value and high impact items from the nice-to-have
  • Familiarity with Workday
  • Focus on relationship-building and team first orientation
  • Desire to build your presence and shape a future-focused key role as part of a fun, dynamic team
  • Prior experience supporting sales or consulting customer teams is a big plus
