Agility is seeking an outstanding Human Resources Generalist who wants to develop their career and support our growing organization. We are passionate about people and culture, and we are looking for a candidate who is excited to elevate our team by creating, implementing, and executing across all relative functions. As a core member of the HR team, you will be expected to provide a broad range of HR support to employees, field management, and the corporate team to assist in aligning the HR strategic initiatives of the organization. Future projects may include organizational development work such as leadership development, job leveling, and career-pathing. The HR Generalist will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and will work out of our Atlanta, GA office.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the face of the organization by leading New Hire Orientation, championing employee engagement, retention, coordinating recognition and event planning
  • Establish and maintain positive employee relationships and interactions
  • Act as a true business partner to leadership and coach on HR-related matters including hiring, separation, and performance management
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including semi-annual reviews, development plans, and ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Handle employee relations issues, including investigations
  • Benefits administration and payroll reconciliation
  • Manage associate outcomes by communicating policies and procedures, and preparing data and reports throughout the employment life-cycle
  • Drive the total rewards statement and compensation planning
  • Ensure practices and policies are aligned with business goals, cultural values, and regulatory/best practices
  • Collaborate with payroll on all employment related activities and serve as payroll backup for vacation and time off.
  • Overall federal, state, and local HR compliance including policies, insurance, and risk management
  • Coordination of administrative duties in Atlanta, GA office


Qualifications:

  • BS/BA or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist
  • Ability to successfully manage various projects and priorities
  • Demonstrate coaching and consulting skills with the ability to train others and express information clearly with diplomacy and positivity.
  • Strong HR Generalist experience with employee relations, compliance, and benefits required
  • Experience with employment law (both Federal and state of Georgia)
  • Leadership presence required with the ability to partner well across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to shift rapidly between short-term urgent needs and long-range planning
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
  • HR certification is a plus (SPHR, SPHRM-CP)
