Overview

Summary

Responsible for Compensation Program management, HR regulatory reporting compliance, and background check process. Processes HR transactions relating to new hires, in-employment changes, and terminations. Conducts HR research, collects and analyzes organizational data, creates reports, and provides recommendations. Ensures HR policies are maintained and updated as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compensation:
    • Conducts Job Analysis - Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
    • Writes job descriptions.
    • Creates compensation letters.
    • Conducts salary surveys (annually and ad hoc; Willis Towers Watson and PayScale).
    • Maintains Salary Structure and Pay Grades.
    • Conducts Pay Gap Analysis.
  • Compliance:
    • Files annual federal regulatory reports (EEO-1, VETS100, OSHA 300, etc.).
    • Files state and municipal regulatory reports as needed.
    • Responds to requests from state Unemployment Compensation entities for data.
    • Responds to requests from governmental agencies for organizational data.
  • Background Checks:
    • Creates and reviews checks sent to hiring manager.
    • Creates and manages client packages in Accurate.
    • Creates client attestation letters.
  • HR Transactions:
    • Ensures Employee Status Updates (ESUs) are accurate for new hires, in-employment changes and terminations.
  • Conducts HR research, collects and analyzes organizational data, creates reports, and provides recommendations.
  • Ensures HR policies are maintained and updated as necessary.
  • Works closely with HRIS Analyst to ensure HR organizational data has the highest degree of integrity at all times.
  • Assists Manager, Human Resources with
    • Peakon platform administration.
    • Intake, analysis, and resolution of employee relations issues.
    • Exit Dialogue analysis.
  • Assists HR colleagues with other assignments as applicable.
  • Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.
  • Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.

Education and/or Experience

Equivalent combination accepted.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Experience / Technical Requirements

  • 2 years of progressively more responsible HR assignments.
  • Proficiency with Human Capital Management platforms, ideally ADP and Workday.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications.

Certifications

One of the following:

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and data analysis abilities.
  • Superior communication skills for communications and presentations - oral and written.
  • Excellent customer service orientation skills in order to deal effectively with various levels of staff, outside customers and community groups.
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
