The HR Business Partner for the Mergers & Acquisitions team is responsible for leading the end to end HR life cycle for the Mergers and Acquisitions process. This includes project managing HR due diligence, planning for integration and execution for all M&A people transactions. The HRBP works and collaborates with cross-departmental groups as well as partners. This role is a national role, requiring extensive travel that is essential to our aggressive growth strategy.
- Support and analysis of HR due diligence and integration activities, including providing project management support on multiple acquisitions concurrently, and other company transactions.
- Develop project plans and track progress against plans while communicating updates to the M&A project team members
- Work with HR groups to review HR data including salary, headcount, etc
- Develop and maintain HR projects including development of training materials for HR teams supporting deal activity.
- Responsible for development of all acquisition related materials and employee documents.
- Will be responsible for coordination of resources to execute all HR related activities.
- Development of all acquisition related documents and resources needed to execute all onsite HR actions
- Work with HR M&A team to identify lessons learned and process improvements to support continuous improvement of HR M&A playbook.
Job Specific Knowledge
- Previous experience in supporting M&A related activities in a high growth environment.
- Extensive M&A project experience specific to Human Resources
- Experience in like industries preferred.
- Experience working in a large cross-departmental team
Education
- Bachelor's Degree
Professional Experience/Competencies
- Minimum of 5 years of HR Business Partner related experience
- Including 3-5 years of exempt level HR Generalist experience, preferred
- Experience in a multi-site, field based organization preferred
- Strong ability to identify, diagnose and resolve employee issues affecting business performance
- Ability to facilitate presentations to employee groups
- Ability to drive projects and execute results
- Excellent attention to details and analytical skills
- Knowledge of employment laws & regulations including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EO, HIPAA, and OSHA.
- Ability to work independently with tight timelines and multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Competent in performance management, compensation, training principles, recruiting and other HR general knowledge area
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative and interdependent HR organization
- Ability to quickly build rapport/relationship with others and promote relationships of trust and respect.
Computer Skills
- Intermediate to advanced user knowledge of Microsoft Office components, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Gmail and familiarity with WorkDay a plus.
Certifications/Licenses
- Valid drivers' license with satisfactory driving record
- PHR preferred
Travel
- Travel demand is 70% during peak times. This role will be working on Mergers and Acquisitions across the country and must be able to travel as needed.
Position will be located at the FleetPride Irving, TX corporate office. While not travelling will be required to work in the corporate office 3 days a week.
