The Role:

DailyPay is looking for a HRIS/Payroll Specialist to join our growing Total Rewards team as a key member in building internal processes. This role reports to our HRIS/Payroll Manager and will be essential to driving the company’s growth and success. Responsibilities:

At DailyPay you will:


  • Process full cycle multi-state weekly and bi-weekly payroll
  • Maintain employee records and the HRIS system and perform periodic data reconciliations to ensure accuracy
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Process wage garnishments, void and manual checks
  • Assist in the development of standard and custom reports, real-time dashboards or analytics for data driven decisions
  • Analyze HR processes and make recommendations for improvements
  • Support upgrades, enhancements, and testing
  • Prepare training materials, guides, and documentation and provide training to users as needed
  • Serve as a critical day-to-day contact
  • Assist with special projects as needed

How You Will Make an Impact:

As the HRIS/Payroll Specialist, you will play an integral part in shaping the processes in HRIS, Payroll, and other areas of the organization. The ideal candidate is a team player who is eager to learn and work through complex solutions.  This position will also have the opportunity to influence future DailyPay products.

What You Bring to The Team:

  • You have 3-5 years of HRIS/Payroll experience
  • You have experience with HRIS implementations and conversions
  • You have experience with major Payroll systems
  • You have knowledge of common fiscal procedures, tax laws, wage laws, accounting, and payroll best practices.
  • You have the ability to work independently as well as work collaboratively
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Products
  • You understand APIs and data integrations
  • Knowledge of UK payroll is preferred
  • Experience with the Paylocity platform is preferred
