Position Overview
The HRIS Lead will be responsible for Regional HRIS projects to support short- and long-term regional objectives in alignment with Global objectives. The HRIS Lead is responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and testing new solutions within a portfolio of products. Additionally, the HRIS Lead is responsible for production support for existing systems, this includes performing troubleshooting activities, continuous improvement and optimization efforts.
Scope includes support for global, regional, and local processes and improvement initiatives to meet HR's strategic goals.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Gather requirements, design and implement Novelis HR Processes & Technology, according to the roadmap agreed with leadership
- Plan and secure resources (People | Processes | Technology) for effective project implementation
- Collaborate with business/process owners to ensure proper change management for HRIS initiatives
- Ensure all processes of design, development, testing, document and training are planned and delivered efficiently for all HRIS projects.
- Assure proper transition from project to post implementation support
- Provide production support (e.g. troubleshooting, analysis, issue remediation, escalation management) with a focus on exceptional customer service
- Lead audits, data cleanup, and data quality efforts
- Lead HR new hire training efforts and build and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
- Provide on demand reports
- Assist w/ tracking of metrics, KPI
Adhere to established SLAs
- Identify opportunities to streamline, simplify, or optimize systems and integrations
- Recognize trends in issues related to day-to-day support and proactively implement fixes to resolve root cause issues
- Support process improvement efforts to provide more standardized and consistent experiences for HR system users
- Reach out to partner with external vendors/forums seeking understanding of our current technologies roadmaps, processes best practices from communities of practice
Location Profile
Novelis' Global Corporate Headquarters is located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta Georgia and employs approximately 250 people. It is co-located with Novelis' North America regional office which employs approximately 225 people.
