Workday HRIS Analyst
We are looking for a Workday Analyst to manage Arrive’s Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance and Learning and Development modules in a complex, high-growth organization. We are seeking a highly capable HRIS Analyst to enhance the performance of our HR technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the Workday platform in support of the organization's data management and reporting needs. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of organizational data within Workday and creating standard and ad hoc queries or reports. You will also create and provide data summaries or statistical analysis.
**Arrive Logistics has office locations in Austin, San Antonio, Chicago and Tampa, but this position will have the option to work on a primarily remote basis. We will accept remote applicants from the states of Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
Essential Functions:
- Enhances and maintains the configuration of Workday to ensure efficient business process automation andeEnsures business processes are maintained in a non-disruptive manner
- Oversees and maintains internal database files, tables, codes, backup files, integrity, and security.
- Assist with the development of new HRIS processes, workflows and procedures and is responsible for all related documentation
- Supports the Total Rewards team, stakeholders and end-users in the effective use of the Workday platform inclusive of existing and future modules
- Works with IT and various HR system vendors to develop and maintain systems road maps and upgrade schedules
- Provides support on HR projects as they relate to Workday, Workday integrations, the rollout of other Workday modules and HR system initiatives
- Supports and assists in managing the change order process and resolution of escalated issues
- Serves as troubleshooting resource and works with the various vendors to resolve complex systems issues
- Provides production support for the Workday platform and its integration points with other software and modules
- May support HR technology projects or initiatives involving Workday HCMS, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance and other Workday modules
- Maintains security setup and access within Workday
- Manages access and security protocols through various access points and integrations including but not limited to data analytics and reporting, HR databases, API files, and other internal and external system access to determine needs-based and secure confidential information.
- Serves as the Total Rewards liaison to MIS/IT function.
- Maintains Workday security and data sourcing associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of employee information for department planning and activities.
- Works in collaboration with key business stakeholders on projects, upgrades and new module or system reviews including implementation, setups, process development, and end-user training related to recruiting, compensation, benefits, workforce management, talent management, training, and performance management.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to Workday end-users.
- Compiles or assists with acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by senior executives, data and reporting analysts, and business leaders.
- Serves as lead representative and liaison between Total Rewards, Information Technology, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS database design and implementation projects.
- Prepares end-user documentation or training materials as needed.
- Performs application upgrades and provides training and functional support.
- Performs audits on HR processes and documents, including but not limited to hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, to ensure data integrity and accuracy of records
Education and/or Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, HR management, business administration, or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years Workday experience
- 5+ years working with HRIS systems and data analytics
- Exceptional ability to gather and interpret data.
- Ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff.
- Experience in analyzing HRIS and HR performance metrics.
- Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability and appetite to learn quickly in a fast-paced team environment
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
