Amplify is looking for an HRIS Administrator to join our Business Systems team. The HRIS Administrator will support Amplify by acting as the functional HRIS expert, and will play an integral role in the configuration, support, and success of Workday and other systems at Amplify.

  • Investigate and uncover underlying issues or business problems and turn those issues into solutions within Workday and other systems
  • Perform validation testing on system configuration updates to ensure that the builds are accurate, effective and can scale to the growth of the organization
  • Provide custom reporting and data-driven insights to identify business trends that enable Amplify to attract, develop, and retain great people
  • Lead critical compliance initiatives including, but not limited to the annual EEO and AAP reporting process
  • Support change management initiatives including, but not limited to the design and development of widely used user documentation
  • Audit our HRIS suite to ensure that our tools are optimized and align to HR Strategic goals
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders including, the broader HR team as well as Engineering, Legal and other Department leadership to ensure full visibility and information sharing

Essential Functions

  • Provide support and troubleshooting of Workday module configuration, including but not limited to Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Compensation and Performance Management
  • Configure and deploy annual Open Enrollment, Performance Management and Compensation Review processes
  • Performs recurrent audits of Workday data and works to improve data quality and integrity
  • Identify, validate and test business processes and configuration updates related to business changes, issues, or process improvements
  • Analyze and investigate system issues and updates using Workday Community to keep Workday knowledge and skills current
  • Perform tests of Workday releases and configuration changes; test, manage and troubleshoot data loads and system integrations
  • Develop and maintain functional/user documentation; assist in identifying organizational needs and requirements
  • Using employee and contractor data, regularly maintain all relevant learning management, staff engagement, and equity management platforms, as part of both the onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Produce EEO, AAP, and other compliance and non-compliance reports, in accordance with the expectations set by the HR Department and/or internal or external stakeholders
  • Address end-user support cases as assigned. Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues and resolve defects timely and with exceptional customer service.
  • Effectively partner with teams such as HR, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, IT, and others to provide support for requests such as enhancements, defects, and new functionality.
  • Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management via research, testing
  • Monitor reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements
  • Executes system changes (updates, integrations, new configurations) and participates in all aspects of system testing


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience building and testing workflows for the following Workday modules:
  • Workday Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits and Absence Management
  • Workday Performance Management and Compensation
  • Experience utilizing tools such as Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB), Calculated Fields, and Report Writer
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential employee and contractor data
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience manipulating complex data sets


Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday PRO Certification
  • Workday Security experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with peers and managers
  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace frequent change
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies
  • Experience with SaaS integrations and leveraging API's
