Position Overview

As a HR System Solution Architect Senior within PNC's HRIS organization, you will be based within PNC's footprint.

Job Description

  • Analyzes, designs and implements the organization's Workday Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) platform, which may include system administration/support, improving the efficiency of data collection and acting as a subject-matter expert for applicable systems/processes. May coach/lead other analysts/associates.
  • Consults on the evaluation, analysis and design of HRIS for the organization and oversees complex activities and projects.
  • May lead review of data input, output and reports to ensure the accuracy of data in the HRIS.
  • Recommends solutions for improving the efficiency of data collection and reporting procedures.
  • Provides end user support and coordinates with other human resources functions to ensure that the HRIS is adequately and efficiently supporting the organization's human resources practices; Leads process improvements where relevant.
  • Recommends and implements more complex systems and technology solutions.

Internal Resource Coordination - Knowledge of the techniques, tools and applications associated with coordination of internal resources; ability to synchronize and integrate activities, responsibilities, and command and control structures to ensure that internal resources are used most efficiently in pursuit of business objectives.

Problem Solving - Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Project Management - Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, to achieve project objectives.

Requirements Analysis - Knowledge of methods and techniques to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements; ability to analyze these requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

Specific HR Systems Application - Knowledge of and ability to design, implement, and operate specific HR systems in the organization.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Additional Job Description

This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii or Alaska. There is limited expectation for regular in person, in office activities.
