The Role:
Vivint's Human Resource department has an exciting opportunity for a talented HR specialist to join the HR Shared Services Team.
The ideal candidate is customer centric, results oriented and has a passion for improving people processes. The Shared Services team is responsible for: new hire processing programs, customer service and ticket management, drug screen, relocation, and visa processes, as well as providing many other employee services. We are fast paced innovation driven environment, and this candidate will need to have the ability to solve problems and execute quickly.
Essential Job Functions:
- HR Administrative Processes - provide employee support for HR administrative processes (New Hire Orientation, I-9/E-Verify, Background Checks, Drug Screens, State and Government Compliance Reporting, employee changes and transactions).
- Customer Service - provide front line employee support by assisting employees with HR related inquiries and questions. Primarily interacting with employees through our HR email ticket support portal system.
- HRIS Administration - manage and review employee related transactions performed in Workday, our HRIS system.
- Project Initiatives - Lead and/or participate in projects related to the HR Operations team and/or the business.
- Process Improvement - identify, recommend, and implement process improvements for HR processes and systems.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Excel proficiency a must
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Be self-directed and motivated
- Take initiative to identify HR/business needs and make recommendations for improvements
Required Education/Experience
- A bachelor's degree with 1+ years of professional experience or equivalent years of experience in Human Resources without a degree.
- Human Resources or practical knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including HRIS, data management, employee relations, performance management or employment laws is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
