Our Opportunity: 

Fetch Package, a venture backed technology enabled logistics company based in Austin, TX, is looking for an Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The HR specialist will be responsible for being the main point of contact for all HR inquiries, in addition to additional responsibilities listed below. 

What you'll do:

• Serve as the initial point of contact for HR inquiries.
• Administrative tasks include benefits, leave of absence, worker’s compensation, employment law poster compliance, and administration of the company recognition system.
• Administer benefit programs and coordinate enrollment, separations, COBRA and other processing requirements with third party administrators in a timely and efficient manner.
• Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, separations including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.

What you'll need:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in a high-growth startup environment with constant change.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field preferred.
• Possess a “People taking care of people” attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ethics.
• Resourceful, analytical, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems (UKG preferred), and comfortable learning new technology systems.
