HR Shared Services Manager
About the Role
The Manager of the Global HR Shared Services Organization will manage and continuously improve a shared services strategy and internal/insourced centers to support limitless scale and repeatable execution for CrowdStrike’s Human Resources function. The ideal candidate will be based in the Sunnyvale or Irvine area and manage team members in the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Each of these teams is responsible for:
First-line support for all HR related questions
Full Employee Lifecycle administration including but not limited to new hire entry, onboarding, job changes, leaves of absence, and one-time payments

As the HR Shared Services Manager you will use your organizational, customer focused experience to create robust transactional processes which are aligned with the businesses they support. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual, an excellent communicator and influencer as well as a results-driven team player.
You will manage a global team and report to the HR Operations and Systems Director. As some team members are remote, you must have experience managing your own agenda as well as motivating, mentoring and developing your team on a predominantly virtual basis. Responsibilities
Train HR users and data entry users globally and at all levels
Ensure accurate and timely data and paper processing in line with defined agreed service level agreements
Advance our Global and Regional team identity
Document all processes globally and drive 100% global process design
Create standard processes that are repeatable, auditable and documented
Design and implement best in class services, tools and processes in line with current business requirements and strategy, and agile to accommodate future changes
Manage the background check process/vendor relationship by liaising with Talent Acquisition to ensure positive candidate experience and analyze SLAs
Through innovative use of technology and process streamlining, demonstrate a measurable cost saving to the business
Design and implement global and regional dashboard metrics to communicate the value of the HR Shared Services Model to the business
Work with global HR locations to define global process and operations for Workday data entry and filing requirements procedures to ensure accurate data collection, retrieval as well as SOX and legal compliance
Facilitate and embed a culture of continuous development and training within the your team
Partner with the HRIS team in the implementation, testing and training for new and existing HR systems
What You’ll Need
BA/BS or equivalent coupled with 5+ years HR experience in a global, fast paced environment with emphasis on operations and process, data entry/audit – Workday and/or ServiceNow experience required.
Strong attention to details for data integrity management
Demonstrated success in building and managing, a multi-site shared services strategy, supporting a multi-country organization – experience with an HR Shared Services model strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to be planned, yet flexible
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple inputs and synthesize into a focused, supported, acceptable action plan
Demonstrated ability to build and keep current a knowledge base, and train employees on how to use it
Demonstrated ability to hire, train, engage, develop motivate and retain a qualified, high-performing organization
Demonstrated balance between appropriate levels of customer service and running a lean, cost efficient shared services organization
Demonstrated ability to use processes, training and technology to drive down the cost of service delivery
Demonstrated ability to set, track, analyze and action against meaningful metrics which monitor success and drive desired behaviors
Experience working with continuous improvement methodology
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Demonstrated ability to successfully work with peers and internal customers at all levels
High integrity and good judgment in handling confidential employee information
Knowledge of supporting multiple HR disciplines (compensation, benefits, learning and development, mobility, staffing, HRIS and government reporting
Excellent process skills, documentation and in depth analytical skills – innovative problem solver, able to be resilient under pressure
Advanced MS PowerPoint, MS Office, MS Excel
Working knowledge of both European and Asian cultures
