Title: HR Project Specialist II

Location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid onsite/remote workstyle)

Position Summary and Key Areas of Responsibility

The HR PMO (Project Management Office) focuses on execution activities for enterprise-wide HR projects, acquisitions and other business development and restructuring projects.

On the HR PMO team you will:

  • Autonomously lead and manage multiple hands-on global projects to completion
  • Be accountable; able to prioritize and deliver on deadlines
  • Forge strong business relationships; create 'buy-in' and persuade and motivate others
  • Conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Use Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and project management tools to track project deliverables
  • Support strategic thinking throughout all projects
  • Support change management and communication efforts, which may include development of communication materials
  • Serve as the key relationship point of contact for HR COEs, HRBPs and the business to enhance the value and reputation of the HR PMO team in the organization
  • Maintain risk and issue logs and change control records



You should be prepared to successfully:

  • Advise, consult, and assist project team members
  • Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between project team members, including coordinating and leading meetings
  • Read communication styles of team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines and adjust your own communication approach as needed
  • Document PMO procedures and support creation of process documentation
  • Proactively "anticipate" risk and develop mitigation strategies and plans. Ensure risks, assumptions and constraints are appropriately communicated and escalated when necessary
  • Ensure project risks are identified, quantified, managed, mitigated, and tracked
  • React to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment



Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in science or equivalent undergraduate degree in management, technology or other related fields.
  • 2 years+ Project Management practices, principles, concepts, frameworks and methodologies
  • 2 years+ Human Resources work experience
  • A proven track record of on-time delivery of project and products
  • Expert verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Expert relationship management and influencing skills
  • Expert skill in MS Excel, including experience with formulas, VLOOKUP's, pivot tables and VBA for detailed data analysis
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strengths in analysis, problem solving and brainstorming



Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma, Yellow belt or higher preferred.
  • Experience with data privacy regulations
  • Experience leading technology enabled or technology focused projects
  • PMP certification
