Role Summary
Provide leadership and direction in the development and implementation of a variety of human resource processes and programs to support the Magna Seating Group Office and Seating Divisions. Serve as a strategic business human resources leader in innovating and driving change to optimize HR systems and processes to improve the overall effectiveness of HR.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee North America Human Resources programs, including monitoring results and ensuring corrective action plans are in place to improve performance for EOS, HR Compliance and Continuous Audit, Launch Readiness Reviews, Employee Advocate Program, Fairness Committees, and other key Magna Programs. • Collaborate with a global project team and Magna Corporate office to ensure execution of Magna-wide programs and projects. Manage costs and people resources for Seating Group to ensure fiscal responsibility and timely implementation of project objectives. • Support Group Human Resource Managers with division support - launch support, recruitment, audit support and other support as required.• Manage Global HR KPIs including collection of data, analyzing data and presentation of metrics• Act as a liaison between Seating Group HR teams and Magna Corporate to ensure ongoing continuous improvement of HR system effectiveness, program effectiveness and the timely resolution of problems. • Support Global HR Systems Manager and Talent Team on global system rollouts. Plan, develop, implement, and administer new and existing HR Systems and related programs for the organization i.e., Workday, LMS, ATS. • Develop effective working relationships with divisional leadership teams, HR Managers & HR department personnel.• Leverage the effective use of technology to maximize HR program effectiveness, talent management and overall employee engagement. • Supports Internal / External Audit efforts regarding ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949 Certification for remote site location (Group Office).• Supports the requirements as detailed in Standard Operating Procedure 8000 (Quality Management System).• Ensure employees work in the manner consistent with the organizations established objectives and targets utilizing protective equipment, devices, measures, and procedures as promulgated by state and federal regulations. Establish clear goals for workplace health and safety. Complete safety talks, safety meetings, and required training occur, as defined.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Experience/Special Knowledge/Skills• 8 years preferred leadership experience or equivalent in human resources, preferably in manufacturing environment • Experience in manufacturing environment or Magna Operating Division is strongly preferred. • Strong understanding of HR system design, structure, functions, and processes. • Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday) and web-based applications and reporting tools (Power BI). Excellent computer literacy and command of Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel skills are required. • Proven adaptability to work with cross-cultural groups within a global organization. • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills; ability to execute objectives timely and accurately. • Excellent presentation and meeting facilitation/training skills.

Physical Demands/ Work Environment
Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
Requires travel, may include internationally - (up to 25%).
Valid driver's license.
Ability to attain & maintain a current passport.
