Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a HR Operations Analyst with high level accountability to join our growing team in our Dania Beach Headquarters. The incumbent will play a key role in managing Chewy’s overall HR incentive programs, supporting company-wide sites and executing high quality work while meeting business initiatives that comply with state, federal and local regulations and are aligned with the company guiding principles.

The incumbent will represent HR Operations and cross functionally collaborate closely with other business segments, including Directors, VP and C-suite team members to analyze key metric data for potential improvements and to provide guidance, knowledge and support, including automated systems of HR. The incumbent will also drive the development of tools and technology to improve compliance, enhance service levels and identify strategic opportunities and objectives

What you'll do:

  • Own and administer Chewy’s Incentive program impacting entire organization, being the subject matter expert that includes accurate calculations, creating new or updating existing incentives, achieving Sr Leadership approvals, audits and quality handoffs to payroll team. Heavily partnered with Payroll team and highly accountable for quality and accurate work. Kronos experience and knowledge are crucial to the success of the incentive program.
  • Oversees and facilitates the wage schedule process, working cross functionally with sites to ensure companywide standardization. Working with Directors of the sites and Compensation on structure and approval of wage schedule. Auditing all sites on a quarterly basis for compliance and Chewy’s standard operations.
  • Analyze and audit HR records for accuracy, compliance and identify any reoccurring errors or anomalies, working closely with the Compliance and Legal team. Determine root cause and implement best practices and solutions for improved workflow and business process. This includes wage reviews, incentive preparation/audit for payroll processing, HR business process flows, and other data as needed in accordance with Chewy’s policies.
  • Act as the HR representative for Directors, VP and C-suite for escalated cases and work with the appropriate team or leadership to resolve any discrepancies, improve business processes and provide key metrics and dashboards.
  • Lead and support HR software upgrades, design, implementation, functional testing, and data validation to ensure quality solutions and that all HR and Absence modules are meeting organizational and compliance needs.
  • Develop and deliver extensive knowledge of all business processes, policies, and system configuration in the Human Capital Management System. Create process driven documentation and training for HR and end users on system functionality and procedures.
  • Lead and support various projects and company initiatives. Independently prioritize and accomplish high volume multiple tasks within established time frames.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2-4+ years’ experience in HR software system; ideally Workday, ADP Workforce Ready or Kronos.
  • Demonstrate an analytical, methodical, and creative approach to resolving issues.
  • Proficient use of a variety of computer software applications, especially Excel.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional customer service focus, professional interaction from front-line to executive level.
  • Must be able to prioritize work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive and personal information.
  • Must be effective working independently and in a team environment.
  • Customer service orientation with an emphasis on accuracy, responsiveness, and clear communication.
  • Position may require travel
