Crucial to the future success of the business we are looking for we are looking for an HR Manager to oversee all our human resources practices and processes for the America’s region.
Main purpose of Job:
Contributing to the development of the HR department goals and objectives and systems.
Primary responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain company handbook and human resource policies and procedures to ensure compliance with USA and Canadian labour laws.
- Build relationships with our payroll and HR third party service providers.
- Prepare and submit bi-monthly payroll input.
- Responsible for all statutory HR and payroll reporting and requirements.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training budget and programs.
- Measure employee morale and determine new methods for improving overall employee satisfaction.
- Implement and manage employee wellness programmes.
- Induction of new employees.
- Updating of employee records.
- Assist with employee queries.
- Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labour legislation.
- Handle employee related services, grievances and disciplinary issues.
- Assisting managers to create and revise job descriptions.
- Maintain company related documents such as, Workmen’s Compensation, and Organisational charts.
- Conduct exit interviews
- Implement and manage annual performance reviews
- Liaise with the Recruitment Specialist in assisting with recruitment practices.
- Continues research and improvements.
Minimum qualification and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in the HR field.
- At least 3 years management experience.
- Good knowledge of employment/labour laws.
