As an HR Generalist you will:

As an HR Generalist at Big Health you will be an important member of the HR team. In 2022, we plan to double our headcount, and as the HR Generalist you will support the company as we grow to that ambitious goal! No day will be the same, but you will have autonomy in the following areas: 

- Onboarding all new hires and Offboarding employees leaving the company in the US & UK

- The infrastructure of the performance management process, including the set up the entire process in our Performance Management System, Lattice

- Initial drafts of HR policies to ensure compliance with local & federal laws 


Additionally, this HR Generalist role will be focused on supporting the people & programs side of HR Operations. You will assist the Director of HR Operations with the following: 

- Managing the Employee Handbook Our weekly kick off meeting, Hello Monday

- Overall career pathing of employees at Big Health

- Planning our annual Summit meetings

- Managing the Big Health Working Location Policy

- As always, the startup landscape is ever changing, and this role will get to be a part of ad hoc projects as we work together to support the entire employee lifecycle.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources 
  • High EQ and ability to empathize with the employee to design an amazing employee experience
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Start Up Experience preferred
  • HR Certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc) not required, but a major plus
