Fourth is seeking an HR Generalist (HRG) to support the Austin office. The successful candidate will act as an employee champion and change agent. The HRG will provide support in all areas, including recruitment, interviewing, employee relations, career learning, KPI’s, and benefits, and will be challenged to seek out ways to support our team members with their day-to-day needs, their development aspirations and their engagement with the organization. 

Responsibilities as Human Resources Generalist:
•Work closely with the Director, HR to ensure we prioritize people plans and resources accordingly.
•Manage Benefits Administration for our US Fourth employees 
•Coordinate the successful on-boarding of new employees to ensure that payroll, benefit, and employee files are established correctly and in full legal compliance.
•Work with the managers to ensure performance reviews are done on a timely basis.
•Partner with department managers and offer support in regard to employee/labor relations issues, inquiries and complaints. Provide prompt and appropriate guidance under the management of the department director.
•Work closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, employee engagement and retention.
•Ensure fair and consistent treatment to all employees and compliance with all national and state laws.
•Identify priority issues and determine which issues can be handled within the authority of the position and be able to discern those issues requiring direction from a higher authority.
•Exemplifies the Core Values of the organization.
•Work with the HR team to create surveys that evaluate team member engagement and recommend programs or strategies to benefit the organization.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
•Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.
•Prior experience supporting a growing organization as an HR practitioner 
•Experience supporting a PEO, Employee Workforce organizations a plus
•Experience and understanding of hiring and people development in a software company is helpful but not essential
•Proven ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization
•Problem-solving skills
•Able to assist with organizational and cultural change initiatives
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work well with all levels of the organization
•Flexibility with a willingness to handle a variety of projects at the same time
