Role Overview
The HR Generalist will build strong relationships with employees, managers, and the HR Team to deliver excellent customer service and promote a positive employee experience.
Specific Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries/FAQs
• Consult and execute on activities designed to improve employee engagement
• Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to enhance the employee experience
• Manage employee sentiment surveys (e.g. first 90 days, exit interviews, etc.)
• Provide dedicated support to the Sales Team on RFP and contract requests related to people reports and policies.
• Provide support to HRBPs to help manage employee performance issues
• Assist in the planning and coordination of cross-functional HR projects
• Ensure HR Intranet page is kept up-to-date with information that employees need the most
• Support new hire orientation by sending weekly meeting invites and coordinating follow-ups with new joiners
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job requirements
Job Requirements:

• High energy, positive personality that takes pride in work product
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resource Management, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of professional experience in an office environment. Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized and capable of handling many different tasks in an efficient manner
• Flexibility in adapting to the growing and changing needs of the organization
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
• Desire to learn and grow within the role. High attention to details, and ability to problem solve and look for solutions independently
• Innovative and resourceful; actively seeks opportunities to improve process and procedures

• Full-time
• Hybrid work schedule with two days a week in our DC (Navy Yard) office
