We are looking for a Generalist to join our People Ops team. This role is critical to enable our business growth and further our mission of creating economic freedom to the world.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Think creatively about the employee experience - find ways to improve every People Ops interaction
- Partner with internal teams to improve the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding (and beyond!)
- Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors on building efficiencies, automations, and integrations between tools
- Partner with local India and APAC leadership to enhance our current processes. Bring in cultural and local best practices, whilst maintaining a global operations perspective
- Work with other members of HR, Legal, and leadership to support and administer employee policies
- Support compliance related procedures, audits, annual testing and documentation including all employee handbooks
- Partner with our internal mobility team to facilitate immigration programs
- Assist with the communication and rollout of updated or new people programs and policies
- Act as brand ambassador and subject matter authority on “all things People”
- Engage with employees to surface and promote unique local programs relevant to the office
- Support our People Programs, including compensation, feedback, engagement, etc.
- Actively participate in the onboarding processes of a rapidly growing region.
- Be the People Operations project contact when we’re launching into new countries within APAC
- Must be willing to contribute to triage and solve employee issues and work from a queue.
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- 4+ years HR experience
- Workday experience
- Experience in fast growth culture - comfort with ambiguity and non-stop problem solving, building, and action
- Extremely detail-oriented
- A bias towards process improvement - you love finding ways to make processes more efficient and streamlined
- Impeccable judgment and ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- BS/BA degree
- Experience with Google Suite, Slack, Greenhouse, Jira is a strong plus
