Position Summary:

We are seeking a HR Business Partner who is high energy, self-motivated and hands-on to effectively support and scale our rapidly growing company. As a member of our high-performing HR team, you will manage a variety of HR projects and provide ongoing support and HR expertise to Manufacturing and Operations employee population.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designs and executes HR strategies with senior leaders to support overall corporate/regional initiatives and business growth strategies across operations teams as well as specific functional requirements.
  • Assists senior leaders at the business unit/functional level with organizational design and development
  • Serve as a change agent for the organization by identifying the need for and facilitating strategic organizational change.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to leaders for all HR processes and procedures including: performance management, talent management, compensation, talent and career development.
  • Partner with our HR COE groups to execute plans on talent acquisition, development, compensation and benefits.
  • Building and supporting a positive Employee engagement culture across the region.
  • Collect/analyze human resources data and make recommendations to promote continual improvement
  • Handle complex employee relations matters, in addition to acting as a coach/consultant to employees, supervisors, and managers
  • Complete projects and special assignments determining priorities, effective time management, gaining the cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem-solving, and making appropriate adjustment to project plans.


Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.
  • Previous experience working with senior business leaders.
  • Previous experience in development and execution of growth strategies and implementation
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • High level of proficiency with HR systems and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain the integrity of confidential information.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Able to work without direction. Proactive and results-driven.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency.


Additional Qualifications:

Functional Description

Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level. Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change). Assists senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives. May play a role in administering talent management and succession planning activity within client organization. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving.

  • Having wide-ranging experience and uses professional concepts and knowledge of company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Possesses knowledge of advanced concepts, techniques, and standards.
  • Viewed as expert in the field within the Function.

  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation.
  • Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
  • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.

  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other colleagues.

Workplace Type

  • The Workplace Type for this role is Assigned Desk. Based on the nature of your role you will have an assigned desk or office located at a Dexcom site and should plan to be onsite approximately 4-5 days per week.
