The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to assigned department leaders with responsibility for workforce and succession planning, talent acquisition and performance management activities. Identifies and enables business leaders to provide people solutions that drive effective business results through the alignment of initiatives to strategic business goals. Assists in raising the level of organizational performance by partnering with business leaders to build outstanding teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Facilitates workforce planning and talent acquisition that includes: evaluation of market demands and challenges, competency requirements, organizational design and gap strategies.• Assists functional business leaders to diagnose, analyze and advise on current and future workforce planning & talent needs.• Partners with business leaders in identifying changing organizational needs and assist in change management principles and processes.• Drives strategic HR initiatives which increase employee engagement, support the business and evolve the culture.• Advises and assists managers in processes such as, performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, compensation, etc.• Serves as a resource for employees in the resolution of employment-related issues.• Diagnoses organizational issues, provides strategic HR advice and offers up ideas and solutions that significantly improve organizational effectiveness and culture.• Collaborates and facilitates the design and implementation of company-wide HR business processes, programs and initiatives.• Work with department leaders to identify training/development opportunities that increase effectiveness, organizational competence and alignment with the company's culture, financial objectives, and core values.• Facilitates improvement processes supporting team performance.• Ensures policies, procedures and practices comply with employment laws and align with company's strategic goals & objectives.• Serves as the "go-to" face of HR to employees and managers within assigned group(s) and primary liaison & single point of contact (funnel) to other key HR functions including compensation, benefits, and recruiting personnel.

Qualifications
Required• BA/BS degree with seven to ten years of related HR Management, Business Partnering/OD experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.• Requires demonstrated HR generalist or business partner background with planning, development, implementation, facilitation and review of a variety of HR initiatives to deliver solutions to clients.• Must have ability to understand and develop effective HR and OD strategies while understanding the implications from a culture, business success, company practice and legal standpoint.• Strong business acumen, with experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior business leaders, an analytical approach to problem solving, experience designing and project managing successful people programs, and a track record of innovation.• Ability to be proactive, navigate the enterprise to drive a variety of short and long term strategies and tactics with varying priorities. The ability to translate client business plans and goals into human resource capabilities is needed to achieve results.• Possesses strategic thinking and planning/facilitation ability, and flexibility to function in a fast paced and innovative environment. The ability to dive into the details will be critical for success.• The ability to provide leadership, work collaboratively on teams, and consult effectively and independently with all levels of the organization.• Strong ability to multi-task, take initiative, negotiate, and influence thinking.• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationship with all internal contacts/coworkers.• Demonstrated competency in the fundamentals of Human Resources including benefits, compensation, and compliance.
Preferred• PHR, SPHR, GPHR certification preferred.• Graduate degree in a relevant discipline a plus.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
