Our new HR Business Partner will be an advocate for the people of Designit Americas and a Subject Matter Expert on employee relations, organizational initiatives, performance standards, and employment practices in a fast-paced and rapidly growing global work environment. They will also provide thought partnership and counsel to managers and teams across the entire organization; as well as shape, implement, and manage HR practices, programs, and processes that impact the employee experience at Designit.
Would you like to...
- Partner with divisional leaders across multiple divisions to assess needs and implement targeted people strategies for business success
- Understand the business objectives of the team(s) and partners with leaders to connect people to those goals. Assist teams with strategic workforce planning by looking at organizational priorities
- Pro-actively identify trends, provide solutions using sound judgment and data, and maintain an objective approach to all work
- Help business leaders understand and implement change mgmt. best practices; provide support to the business for development and delivery of change initiatives
- Consult with leaders and key stakeholders with the goal of improving and developing leadership behaviors and practices
- Utilize a variety of tools to inform business decisions such as: talent assessment practices, people analytics, organizational insights, engagement surveys
- Build partnerships and be a trusted, credible, and sought out resource across the business.
- Effectively manage and deploy best practices around employee relations, risk mitigation, internal policy / program and process development
- Implement HR initiatives, policies, and practices; participate and collaborate on HR programs and projects
- Clearly communicate business benefits of the initiatives your implementing, influencing buy-in and support of the business.
We would like you to have...
- 5+ years of experience as an HR manager or HR Business Partner
- Degree in Human Resources or related field or certifications (HRCI or SHRM)
- Deep knowledge and practice of HR competencies: organizational design, performance management, change management, employee relations, leadership development, talent practices, employment practices, compensation, total rewards
- Strong business acumen and understanding of HR processes and best practices
- Solid understanding of management and leadership principles
- Proven coaching skills that link performance to business goals
- Knowledge of employment law and risk management for global workforce
- Consistently & effectively balance both a tactical and strategic HR workload with a spirit of positivity and lens for continuous improvement
- No reservations challenging the status quo
- International HR experience a bonus
