The opportunity

Working closely with leaders and your peers, we are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Global Altus Analytics HR team. In this role, you will manage the full HR suite and processes from workforce planning, organizational efficiency, and compensation planning to onboarding, employee engagement, and succession planning.

This position will include a portion of remote working but you will need to live within commutable distance to one of our US offices in either Chicago, Houston, or Atlanta and be happy to attend the office on a regular basis.

Who you are

You have direct experience as an HR Business Partner, in a software, technology sales or professional services environment with a proven experience in mergers & acquisitions. You can quickly build trust through truly partnering with leaders to not only implement positive changes but also drive efficient HR processes across an organization. You are results-driven and can manage multiple concurrent projects simultaneously. You are looking for a chance to build and apply people-focused insights to increase efficiency, engagement, attraction, and retention. You enjoy balancing strategy with tactical work. You are comfortable working on a lean team and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do the work that needs to be done.

What you will do:
• Provide strategic HR planning, consultation, and solutions. You will diagnose organization and people challenges and propose solutions and change management initiatives on a variety of business and HR initiatives to ensure the best implementation and alignment.
• Oversee talent management initiatives. You will:

o Manage and provide training, development, and performance management guidelines and programs for specific client groups.

o Partner with recruitment to meet resourcing needs.

o Provide coaching to managers on how to use Workday to increase adoption and efficiencies in the Workday business processes.

o Lead the annual year-end compensation cycle.
• Prepare Workforce analytics. You will analyze and integrate people metrics and reporting to develop strategic and operational insights to meet workforce objectives. You will draw insights to support recommendations and leadership workforce decision-making (e.g., staffing, Learning and Development, talent management, diversity, and HR compliance).
• Educate. You will coach management on policies and laws to increase awareness and improve management capability.
• Lead program implementation. You will oversee the adoption and change management of regional and global HR initiatives, programs, and policies.
• Manage employee relations. You will provide advice and counsel to people leaders and employees on complex and higher risk workplace situations, ensuring equity and transparency. You will manage risk by ensuring compliance with Altus policies, regulatory requirements, applicable employment, and human rights legislation as well as ethical practices.
• Administer employee transactions. You will manage, process, and approve employee and resource-related transactions in Workday.

Our new HR Business Partner will have:
• The ideal combination of education and experience. You have a university degree in Human Resource Management and 5+ progressive experience in HR (global experience is an asset).

• The drive to own and lead. You have strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to navigate well in ambiguity. You are an influencer with the ability to build and drive consensus, engaging others through strong thought-leadership and collaboration.
• A commitment to continuing growth and development with a similar ambition to progress your career.
• The technical skills. You have advanced skills in the MS Office suite of products and exposure to one or more HR systems.
