Overview

Chick-fil-A Supply is in the early stages of development and is a dynamic, fast-paced work environment focused on launching this new service to Restaurants across the nation. As the business matures and the team grows, the Sr. Project Specialist is needed to bring administrative structure and HR support to the talent organization through project plan build and execution, leadership and team coordination, and tracking, reporting, and communication of progress against goals. In addition to administrative support, this role is responsible for successfully supporting and/or delivering projects of varying size and complexity, designed to drive the talent strategy and culture of our organization. While guidance will be provided by Talent leadership, it is essential that the person in this role is an exceptional self-starter and initiator.

Responsibilities
• Support the Talent organization by teaming closely with the Talent Director in the execution of organizational objectives
• Conduct administrative functions on behalf of the Talent Director, including project plan maintenance, onboarding support, meeting coordination/facilitation, and team travel coordination
• Provide frontline human resources support to both Services and Operations staff, helping to troubleshoot, problem-solve and provide administrative support
• Understand ongoing work across the Talent space to represent the Talent organization in quarterly meeting planning and reporting cadence with other functions
• Lead special projects as assigned by the Talent Director, including developing and delivering project status reports to project team members and key stakeholders
• Support continuous improvements to the Talent function with a strategic lens as the entity grows and matures
• Support the execution of culture strategies, partnering with key leaders across the network to grow, maintain, promote, and protect a culture that aligns with the Chick-fil-A Supply values of care, safety, and excellence
• Other duties assigned as needs arise

Minimum Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in an HR-related, HR/OD project or consulting role
• Bachelor's degree in human resource development, business, or related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices
• Ability to build and maintain trust-based, collaborative relationships and influence others
• Self-starter with natural tendency to take initiative and work independently
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and anticipate needs
• Strong judgment, critical thinking, problem solving and consulting skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discernment and sensitivity
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills
• Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office software and comfortable learning new software/systems
• Ability to occasionally travel, including overnight trips

Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years of HR coordinator or generalist experience
• Experience in distribution/manufacturing or a startup environment
• Working knowledge of innovation in supply chain
• Demonstrated business acumen of HR KPIs; using data to drive continuous improvement
