Description

We have a home-based opening for an HR Business Partner to work in partnership with supervisors and employees at our Corrugated facilities in Albany, GA, Augusta, GA and Spartanburg, SC. This position will have the opportunity to partner with our business to develop and execute talent, labor relations, and compensation strategies to effectively support our business. We want to transform the delivery of our HR services to effectively meet both the current and future needs of our customers while delivering gains to the business.

The successful candidate will support the Georgia-Pacific facilities in Albany, GA, Augusta, GA and Spartanburg, SC and must be within reasonable proximity to the plants supported. This role is a home-based position with 50% travel required.

Advancing Our Talent Position

  • Partner with various capabilities teams to improve our talent position - selection, attraction and retention.
  • Own staffing- forecasting, staffing, onboarding effectiveness, sourcing strategies.
  • Support performance management and Supervisor development.



Drive Process Excellence

  • Investigating questions and/or complaints; resolving employee relations issues and using each complaint/issue as an opportunity to understand the true root cause and develop a plan to resolve the root cause.
  • Identify HR Compliance risks and develop gap closure plans to address risks while implementing a systematic approach to maintaining compliance.
  • Optimizing risk to the Company by effectively interpreting current policies and practices while identify opportunities to drive standardization and eliminate waste.


The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3 years or more of HR generalist experience
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time (including overnight/weekly travel)


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Previous experience working with unionized workforce
  • SHRM Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources

For this role, we anticipate paying $80,000 - $100,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
