Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Apprentice to join our Global People strategy team. This is a unique opportunity to start a career within HR, working as part of a friendly and collaborative Global team whilst undertaking a Level 3 HR Support qualification. 

As a HR Apprentice, you will support the team with a variety of tasks and gain an insight into how HR Business partners supports the wider business. You’ll be interacting daily with internal stakeholders of varying levels across the organisation, so a passion for providing great service is key. You’ll also need a great eye for detail, as you will be supporting with the day-to-day administration of our HRIS data integrity, change forms and supporting with projects across the HRBP team. Over the course of the apprenticeship, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of HR streams including onboarding, talent planning, and learning. 

We’ll ensure you have the chance to learn on the job with mentoring and development from our colleagues, putting your off the job training to practical use to cement your learning. Upon completion, you'll have developed and honed your knowledge and skills to grow your career. 

What will this role involve? 

  • Work alongside Human Resources Business Partners to provide administrative support to their assigned business areas. 

  • Provide support and administration with our on-boarding platform to include answering queries, loading data, review and update content as needed and conduct research for new content for the platform. 

  • Day-to-day administration of internal learning programmes, including creating and sending invitations and tracking participation. 

  • Assist with conducting analysis and identifying trends around employee data. 

  • Support the HR Business Partner Team and wider HR team as required on ad hoc projects. 

You will work towards gaining: 

  • Level 3 Apprenticeship as HR Support (standard) 

  • You will need to complete an End Point Assessment to successfully pass your apprenticeship

Qualifications

What are we looking for? 

Knowledge & Experience:

  • As a minimum requirement, you will need to have achieved or be expecting to achieve 5 GCSE passes at Grade C/4 or above including in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications 
  • A good basic understanding of the work of a HR Function and a demonstrable interest to start a career in HR 
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Teams, Office 365 and SharePoint - we will help you learn these too!

Additional Information

Things to consider:

An Apprenticeship is a learning opportunity. Apprentices will be required to complete the mandatory period of off-the-job training and all tasks associated with obtaining the Apprenticeship qualification.

On completion of the Apprenticeship:

A certificate will be issued formally recognizing this achievement and will mark the end of the 18-month program.

Taylor & Francis will make every effort to identify a suitable internal role for you, however there is no automatic guaranteed progression to a permanent or fixed-term role after successful completion of the Apprenticeship.

Additional Information:

  • To be eligible for Apprenticeship funding you need to have the right to and be living in England.
  • You must not already hold a qualification of the same type, content and level.
  • You must not be undertaking another apprenticeship or in education at the same time.
  • Our Apprentice opportunities are open for candidates who do not currently hold and who are not currently studying for a degree-level qualification
