Position Overview
The HR Applications Specialist will be focused on the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) in addition to other systems supported by the HR Technology team. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities, and system configuration. The HR Applications Specialist also supports updates to software, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Duties involve independent judgment and discretion on issues that may be sensitive or confidential in nature.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Maintains internal database files and tables and develops custom reports
• Maintain Company 2000 configurations in accordance with company policy, legislation & compliance including accruals, security, and workflows
• Resolves HRIS system issues, acts as "troubleshooter" for HR and Payroll, works with Product & Tech department closely
• Participate in the testing and implementation of all system upgrades and rollout of new features; coordinate all user testing and parallel run activities
• Prepares reports and ad hoc queries for employee data contained in the HRIS in response to requests from users within Human Resources and from users in other departments
• Validate the accuracy of the system information through various reports and manager discussions
• Identify areas for improvement in our data, reporting, processes, and systems
• Be an expert and resource on application features and supported third party software
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 4+ years of experience working with HRIS systems
• Multitask, prioritize, detail orientated, efficient with time management
• Strong critical thinking with the ability to review numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings
• Strong communication (Oral & Written) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with confidential information
• Payroll experience, preferably in a high growth organization
• Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $66,158 - $87,857/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
