HRDC6 is seeking to provide a Development Assignment opportunity at GE HR Analyst level to interested staff who would like to contribute to the work of the HRDC6 team and support our clients. It is an exciting and dynamic role that will surely provide opportunities for development and exposure to a different HR Client Services setting and client group
HRDC6 provides a full suite of HR services and products to MDD VPUs including the MD's Front Office (MDDPP), operational VPUs (4 Practice Groups) 4 Talent Councils, 16 Talent Boards, and 2 corporate VPUs (ECR + 1 Talent Board and DEC). The client size is about 2095 staff including management based in HQ and country offices in Dakar, Nairobi, Singapore, Western Europe, and Japan. Additionally, the HRDC6 team provides management and administrative oversight and support to the Young Professionals Program (YPP), the Donor Funded Staff Program (DFSP), and the Secondment Program.
The scope of the position is varied and demanding, encompassing a combination of HR client support and analytics as well as coordination of services and support for ECR and DEC, working under the supervision of the Sr HR Business Partner. The job requires analytical skills, the ability to multitask, a high degree of judgment, initiative and flexibility, problem-solving capability, patience, and teamwork.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES• Partner with the Sr HR Business Partner in the delivery and flawless execution of HR services and products to ECR and DEC clients, including recruitment, mobility, performance management, workforce planning, training, and career development. • Using the existing HR information systems, conduct general research, analysis, and interpretation of data; provide information regarding staffing issues and prepare summary reports and presentations as needed to strengthen HR's support business objectives and global footprint. • Provide analytical support, manage HR databases, produce periodic and ad hoc reports, develop and maintain HR information and reporting systems,• In consultation with relevant subject matter experts, troubleshoot and problem-solve process and data issues when they arise and develop quality assurance practices to catch and resolve issues• Using developed templates, tools, and systems to manage HR processes, and support client teams with the delivery and implementation of key HR products, processes, and services such as performance management, talent management, recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and Diversity, and Inclusion, etc.
Selection Criteria
• Master's degree and at least 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Broad Business Thinking- Maintains an in-depth understanding of the long term implications of decisions both for the department and the client's business• Domain Knowledge - Human Resources Programs and Policies- Demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices, and systems• Deliver Results for Clients - Contributes to the delivery of results for clients on complex issues.
