The Head of Talent Development will set the vision, develop the strategy, and execute towards building one of the best places to grow and develop one’s career. This is an ambitious goal and we’re looking for an experienced professional and leader passionate about unlocking the potential of our employees. This role reports to the VP of People.


What You’ll Do:

  • Build out a global learning and development strategy
  • Shape, influence and lead an evolving talent management function 
  • Guide, mentor, and develop a high performing talent management team and continue to scale the team based on strategic business objectives
  • Identify, create and execute on key global talent initiatives and programs that align with Next's values to help leaders develop their organizations and ensure high employee performance
  • Design and implement the company’s talent review process
  • Build and evolve a manager and leadership development program 
  • Work closely and collaborate with the VP of People on company-wide, critical global talent initiatives.

 

What We Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in HR with expertise in talent management, learning and development, performance management, organizational development, and employee engagement
  • 5+ years managing a team; strong managerial and leadership skills a must
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams
  • Proven track record in leading, planning and executing upon global programs and projects in high growth environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high comfort level of presenting at an executive level
