Role Description

The Dropbox Talent Acquisition organization prides itself on making data-driven decisions to support the business. We leverage strategic data insights to proactively advise the business on recruiting strategies and tactics. 

 

The Head of Talent Acquisition Data and Reporting will own the strategy to produce consistent and insightful analytics reporting across all audiences along with the creation of dashboards and other data visualization tools. As part of the TA leadership team, you will meet regularly with your peers (TA Leaders), the People Analytics Team, and senior business stakeholders to understand the overall needs of the organization. 

 

The Head of TA Data and Reporting will partner closely with our People Analytics Team to drive a cohesive analytics and reporting strategy connecting talent acquisition data with various forms of employee data.  This role will play a key part in consulting the organization on the best ways to visualize recruiting data to drive insights and actionable changes. This role will also own defining the key operating metrics with which the TA organization measures its overall progress and success.  

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and strategy for Dropbox Talent Acquisition Reporting by linking the reporting strategy to our recruiting and business strategies. 
  • Partner closely with TA Leadership, the People Analytics Team, and key business stakeholders to fully understand reporting needs and ensure data is gathered accurately and consistently to enable dashboards, and analyses.
  • Serve as the product owner of the Recruiting data warehouse, working with IT to deliver new data warehouse capabilities and advising on best practices for bringing together data across disparate systems
  • Resolve complex issues across the recruiting data landscape and workflows. 
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on specific TA metrics to focus on and best approaches for visualization and driving actionable insights. 
  • Partner closely with ITS, Data Engineers, and our People Technology team to help drive drive the overall Recruiting data strategy and ensure TA has automated, scalable solutions for tracking key metrics and KPIs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working in a data analytics and strategy capacity ideally focused on talent and recruiting data. 
  • Direct experience working with Talent Acquisition data and analytics; well versed in best practices for data visualization, self-service analytics, and communicating data to non-technical audiences. 
  • Experience defining operational KPI’s and success metrics across at organization at scale. 
  • Direct experience working with IT teams and stakeholders to develop data warehousing capabilities, lead root cause analyses, and solve complex data discrepancy issues. 
  • Experience coaching and mentoring analytics professionals for growth and development
  • Passion and curiosity for data and how it can solve complex recruiting challenges. 
  • Strong ability to articulate complex data challenges in a simple manner for varied audiences.
