Role Description:

We are looking for a Head of People Operations who will build a scalable people ops practice as well as support the day-to-day operation. You will have the opportunity to build HR programs from the ground up, learn and implement scalable HR practices, build an employee experience that reflects our values, and contribute to our long term success.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of employee experience and engagement programs with an aim to build internal understanding of Swyft’s business strategy, customers, culture, and values
  • Create and execute innovative strategies to connect Swyfties across teams and offices
  • Design and execute full employee experience, and rollout engagement activities that deepen our employees’ understanding of company philosophies, change initiatives, policy rollouts
  • Partner closely with our Talent Acquisition team to ensure seamless integration and connectedness of new hires across the organization
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to build and execute strategy that amplifies diversity initiatives
  • Ensure employee experience is reflective of and reflected in Employee Value Proposition
  • Establish and track metrics that help correlate employee experience programs to employee engagement.
  • Develop and scale innovative recognition programs that reflect our values

About You

  • 7+ years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist or HRBP
  • Experience as an HR leader in a growing tech centric company
  • Demonstrated experience articulating a vision, translating it into an executable strategy, and driving cross-functional teams to deliver against the plan
  • Previous experience building new programs, coaching senior leaders, and facilitating organization-wide initiatives
  • High EQ, excellent judgment, discretion, and grace under pressure
  • Proven track record in successfully building and maintaining employee programs that drive employee satisfaction, connectivity, and engagement
  • Experience using data to drive decision making
  • Expertise in project management and change management
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in US employment laws, familiarity Canadian employment laws a plus
  • Passionate about building an inclusive culture
  • Ability to demonstrate our values in an on-going and consistent way
