Global Partner, Executive Talent Management

Reports to: Head, Talent Management

Overview

Come join our global team as we put in place an enterprise-wide system for talent identification, pipelining/succession planning and high potential development. This new team will work in partnership with the most senior levels of the organization, global HR business partners as well as talent acquisition and leadership & development experts. Our business leaders need us to put in place a system which can reliably meet our talent needs to fuel our growth aspirations.

Your responsibilities and impact

You will provide strategic direction, leadership, and execution of formal talent management approach in collaboration with HR Business Partner including:

  • Business Leader annual talent reviews
  • Regular talent planning sessions
  • Focused action planning and follow through
  • Metrics and analysis
  • Deliver training to HR


  • You will understand business drivers, gaps and strategy in order to effectively partner with senior business and HR leaders to assess talent needs across functions and across pipelines Including developing / updating experience maps by working with L&D experts and senior leaders.
  • You will manage Business' Talent Pool - Building in-depth knowledge of high potential talent to support their development planning; you will act as the company's talent broker. You will act as a bridge across the organization to identify development opportunities across pipelines and functions.
  • You will develop strong relationships with key talent and senior leaders in HR and the business, to drive the execution of the talent management process
  • You will collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.g., talent pools, succession planning, development planning, talent movement).
  • You will design, analyze, and report metrics for executives; you will assess impact of the talent development offerings in order to implement improvements as needed.
  • You will work with key stakeholders to identify synergies, best practices and drive continuous improvements to elevate talent management.



Your qualifications and experience:

You have

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR roles focused on executive & senior management talent development and performance management strategies and execution
  • experience designing, developing and driving organization-wide talent management strategies that consist of a full cycle of performance management, talent development, coaching, high potential identification and succession planning
  • a proven track record in building credible and trustful relationships at executive & senior management levels and establishing valuable and productive partnerships
  • experience working in a global complex organization, successfully navigating across diverse teams and cultures
  • Previous experience in talent analytics including capturing metrics and producing various employment reports.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Ability to a conduct needs assessment and talent gap analysis along with creating a business plan to successfully close identified skill gaps and build pipelines
  • Ability to think strategically while delivering practical large-scale solutions
  • Ability to make your own decisions as well as be collaboratively; self-motivated and disciplined to meet deadlines in the context of delivering on priorities and projects.
  • Highly creative and innovative; proven ability to conceptualize and communicate strategies, ideas and business solutions utilizing data and analysis tools. Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the environment to advance goals.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills and communicates with confidence (written and oral).



Some domestic and international travel is necessary. There is also room for location flexibility with a strong preference to be located in one of our major sites.
