We’re looking for a Global People Operations Lead to join us to build out and manage platforms/programs/policies across all of HUMAN globally.


The Head of People Operations is a senior leadership position in the Human Experience (HX) team and reports to the Chief People, Purpose, and Policy Officer. The position supports the HX team’s mission to attract, retain and equip a diverse and inclusive set of the brightest talent and nurture an environment where they perform at their best, individually and as teams. The Head of People Operations is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent acquisition & management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, total rewards, and HR. The position is instrumental in enabling the rapid but smooth scaling of HUMAN’s structures, systems, staff and processes to accommodate the company's ambitious growth strategy.

What you'll do;

  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
  • Champion and represent HUMAN’s unique culture and values. Create programs that both safeguard and advance our culture as a differentiator compared to other companies.
  • Monitor the competitive talent market we operate in and understand the latest trends and HR best practices and their potential impact 
  • Develop domestic and global HR strategy and operational plan to meet the company’s business goals and objectives
  • Articulate and deploy a comprehensive talent acquisition and retention plan that ensures a high bar of talent as well as stable bench strength
  • Manage global benefits strategy, PEO/broker negotiations, and drive open enrollment meetings with employees
  • Optimize and oversee administration of core HR processes, such as Employee Engagement, Performance Evaluation and Promotion process, etc to ensure efficacy, accuracy and consistency
  • Develop and implement diversity and inclusion practices aimed to build a more resilient & innovative workforce
  • Act as point person for Total Rewards Program and its tools & resources (variable cash compensation frameworks, base salary leveling structures, equity administration, etc.)
  • Ensure our core HR infrastructure and systems – HRIS, ATS, Talent Management Systems, benefits, payroll, employee data - run dependably with a focus on detail, accuracy, agility and scalability
  • Make certain that all HUMAN related administrative forms, reports, processes, and audits are completed accurately, timely and in compliance with relevant local, state, federal and provincial regulations for benefits, HR record keeping and audits and compliance
  • Leverage data analytics to make HUMAN’s staffing related processes smarter and more efficient through application of a strong knowledge of workforce analytics and metrics.
  • Oversees the development of reports from HR systems involving employee data including but not limited to: hiring & selection, turnover, performance, pay, employee engagement, training, skills, EEO and Affirmative Action. Drive strategy for and oversee development of executive scorecards for business leaders to determine predictive trends and make effective business decisions regarding talent management
  • Ensure all appropriate compliance and audit of processes, programs and systems (e.g. EEO, AAP, VETS, FMLA, 401(k) audits, etc.)
  • Be responsible for process improvement, including evaluating existing systems and procedures, providing recommendations for changes and improvements, and implementing changes
  • Complete the compensation analysis, review and benchmarking process on a regular cadence
  • Collaborate with other internal facing, cross-functional departments (IT, Legal, Finance, Business Systems) to ensure efficient, dependable, integrated processes and programs
  • Serves as the project leader for all new projects involving HR data, system changes, and implementation of new software
  • Serve as a role model in coaching, mentoring, and developing People Ops team members

  • An excellent project and program manager able to work cross-functionally, marshall resources, and accurately report on progress, milestones, dependencies and mitigation strategies 
  • Technically adept with a variety of office automation suites as well as HRIS systems
  • Humble, diligent, innovative

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of People Operations experience with an emphasis on HR operations, HRIS or equivalent
  • Significant PeopleOPs leadership experience in rapidly scaling technology company or companies 
  •  (e.g. 200 to 3XHC)
  • 6+ years of experience in HR Analytics
  • A track record of leading PeopleOps teams and directing strategy and implementation for rapidly scaling domestic and international tech companies
  • Proven track record of influencing and coaching executives to organize strategically to scale and flex with business needs.
  • Expert in organizational design, succession planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, business consulting, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, culture, employee engagement, employee retention, coaching and career development, talent acquisition & management, conflict resolution and data analytics
  • In-depth knowledge of People/Talent best practices and the systems/ tools (i.e. HRIS) that support them
  • Outstanding communication and change management skills
