Job Description
The Lead Talent Sourcer, Executive Search will serve as a critical component to the Executive Recruitment Function by building relationships to attract top talent to fill Director and above level roles across the enterprise. This highly visible role will have the ability to rotate into full life-cycle recruiting and serve as an advisor to executive leadership on how to support talent initiatives. Partnering closely with the Managers and Directors of Executive Recruitment, this Lead will utilize internal and external networks, referral sources, internet based platforms, and traditional sourcing techniques to attract highly sought after candidates for Discover.
How You’ll Do It
Deliver high-quality, pre-screened, active, and passive candidates for current and future openings.
Work with Recruiting Managers to develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet overall recruiting goals and build talent pipelines based on Business Unit workforce planning.
Represent Talent Acquisition to internal and external stakeholders and deliver solutions to fulfill recruitment and other talent acquisition projects.
Evaluate candidates and make recommendations to hiring managers and other stakeholders.
Proactively identify and source passive candidates using multiple techniques including name generation research, relationship building and existing talent pools in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Maintain excellent understanding of a variety of sourcing tools and is adept at evaluating and managing timing and appropriate use of each resource.
Obtain talent-market intelligence and provide on-going feedback based on market realities, accompanied by supporting data and metrics.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing work based on Business needs and deadlines.
Research and adopt innovative approaches, including diverse resources, to enhance existing sourcing efforts.
Develop social networking contacts via groups, Social Media, association contacts, etc.
Help to create and deliver content to increase visibility of the Discover Employment Brand.
Collect, manage and report on project and talent market data/metrics.
Map target organizations and build organizational charts based on research and discussions.
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
Bachelor's degree in human resources or a business-related field
4+ years of experience in sourcing, human resources consulting, operations management
In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in recruiting, HR consulting, operations management
Bonus Points If You Have
6+ years of experience as executive recruiter, sourcer, full-cycle corporate recruiter in a corporate talent acquisition environment or agency setting
Demonstrated experience in core recruiting skills (job requirements gathering, planning, sourcing, selecting, cold calling, phone screening)
Demonstrated ability to effectively develop plans and execute sourcing strategy
Prior executive sourcing or recruitment experience highly preferred
Excellent communication (oral and written) skills and must also have high sense of urgency, strong work ethic and can manage ambiguity
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Workday, CRM or other ATS systems preferred
