This is a remote position and is open to applicants from any state in the US.

Role Description

The Employee Engagement Manager will collaborate with account leaders to develop forward-thinking programs and associated internal communications, with an eye towards improving business outcomes across our organization. They will be responsible for identifying strategic opportunities to recalibrate our culture, driving change in partnership with senior leaders, and communicating impact. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, comfortable interacting with stakeholders at every level, and has a passion for creating meaningful experiences for employees.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap that aligns with operational, personnel, and safety engagement goals. Drive and monitor progress across the account.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of employee experience programs; leverage account data and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience
  • Implement account-wide initiatives and fully leverage current programs to drive and support specific aspects of engagement, including: recognition, health & wellness, leadership, work quality, career advancement, and brand recognition
  • Where opportunities exist for improvement, define proposed programmatic solutions, success measures, owners, and timelines
  • Partner with the Chief of Staff and Director of HR to create a compelling Employee Value Proposition and integrate this into tangible programs throughout an employee's lifecycle to drive a culture that fosters this EVP
  • Perform in-person audits (observation and reviewing documentation) at select sites to determine adherence to standard work for both technicians and managers
  • Lead the strategy and execution of the bi-annual employee engagement survey process, including the survey approach, cascading the results to the account, and partnering with leaders on the action planning process
  • Distribute pulse surveys monthly to get a real-time view of how employees are feeling and determine whether they have a clear understanding of expectations
  • Visit sites to speak with employees, both 1:1 and in smaller team groups
  • Host nodal Town Hall events to open up a dialogue with employees, both enhancing their understanding of key programs as well as generating essential feedback
  • Collaborate with our Employee Relations team to evaluate exit interview survey data, complaints, site health survey data, and site roundtable feedback
  • Enhance our site leadership's ability to diffuse conflict, have critical conversations, communicate strategically, and lead change successfully
  • Coordinate with account leadership on effective communication of programs, expectations, and standard work to employees that is people-first and purpose-driven
  • Build strong partnership with JLL Employee Resource Groups to support retention and engagement efforts
  • Stay up-to-date and educate leadership on industry trends and best practices related to engagement, health and wellness, and DE&I
  • Establish and track key metrics of progression around strategic projects and initiatives, review results with stakeholders, and adjust strategy as necessary

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience with a focus on employee engagement, employee experience, organizational effectiveness, or other related HR disciplines
  • Great communicator - well-honed verbal, written, and listening skills; high level of emotional intelligence
  • Effective networker - quickly builds trust and rapport with employees, teams, and leaders to drive an inclusive, performance-driven culture at scale
  • DE&I focused - familiar with creating strategies that incorporate equity, diversity, and inclusion practices into organizational initiatives
  • Analytical prowess - efficiently collects, analyzes, and organizes datasets into high-level metrics and engaging visuals
  • Solution-oriented - effectively diagnoses challenging problems, thinks critically and creatively, and influences others towards solutions
  • Mobile - able to travel up to 35%
