The Impact You'll Make

As part of a newly formed team within Talent Acquisition at Mozilla, reporting to the Diversity Sourcing Manager, your insight, experience, and creativity will help us build a world-class sourcing function that is dedicated to attracting, engaging, and hiring underrepresented talent.

What You'll Do

• Utilize sourcing tools such as search engines, job boards, open-source communities, LinkedIn Recruiter, Employee Referral Program, and other social channels to source, screen, and qualify active and passive talent from underrepresented groups.
• Partner with our DEI team, ERGs, and DEI Committee to ensure we are using the right strategy and communication channels to reach a diverse audience of talent.
• Act as a Mozilla brand ambassador and participate in virtual career fairs and informational sessions.
• Maintain and nurture your pipeline of leads and identify future opportunities that align with their experiences and interests across multiple requisitions, hiring managers, and recruiters.

What You Bring

• Subject matter expertise in sourcing technical and non-technical talent.
• Experience working in or supporting diversity & inclusion initiatives.
• Experience implementing sourcing strategies passionate about building connections and relationships that address both short-term and long-term hiring needs.
• Knowledge in advanced diversity sourcing tools and techniques i.e. understanding search strings, how to identify and find unique skills and talent across multiple dimensions of diversity with a focus on underrepresented talent.
• Experience with Greenhouse or other applicant tracking systems.
• Experience working closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand the requirements of the role, the function, and how it fits into the organization.
• Experience composing compelling candidate communications that highlight Mozilla's unique Employer Value Proposition (EVP).
• Strong attention to detail while operating with a sense of urgency.
• A focus on what's possible. Pushing those around you to challenge assumptions as well as the status quo.
• A relationship-minded approach to your work. You value empathy, active listening, and digging in to understand and care about what makes people tick while celebrating diverse perspectives and lived experiences.
• Proven success creating trust and accountability through a transparent, open, and honest communication style.
