Why This Role Is Valuable

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Business Partner will develop and drive our DEI and CSR strategies to enhance our workplace and our communities. This role will lead Revantage in building an inclusive culture comprised of a diverse workforce and making meaningful impact in our communities. As our DEI and CSR Business Partner, you will partner with People & Culture Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development as well as business leaders. Through these partnerships, this role will leverage deep DEI and CSR expertise to mesuare our progress and lead us on our journey to promote an environment where all employees of varying backgrounds feel a sense of belonging and can see themselves thriving in our organization.

How You Add Value

Diversity Equity & Inclusion:

  • Serve as the over-arching strategic and operational leader for our internal DEI iniatives and engagement
  • Establish our DEI goals and specific deliverables for each year, being thoughtful to identify practical actions that are achievable and fitting based on our culture
  • Lead the coordination, design, and implementation of DEI into all aspects of the business
  • Partner with the key stakeholders within the team and across the organization to align efforts and activities to align with DEI commitments (e.g. representation, retention)
  • Model empathy, active listening, and the ability to connect in an approachable way to ensure connection to our people, our culture and establish an environment to drive change
  • Align and mobilize the Executive Leadership Team, Portfolio Company DEI leaders and Blackstone stakeholders around common
  • Lead the DEI committee for the organization and oversee company sponsored programs that celebrate diversity
  • Create, oversee and support the development of Employee Resource (Affinity) Groups in efforts to deepen the sense of belonging, community and inclusion both within their groups and across the organization
  • Develop and oversee our internal measurement process to assess our achievement toward our annual DEI progress
  • Gather and interpret data and analytics to help the organization understand progress including leading and lagging indicators
  • Manage risk in all DEI efforts, in partnership with legal department

Corporate Social Responsibility:

  • Solid understanding of critical ESG/CSR subject matter, including issue/policy landscape, effective communications strategies
  • Launch a benchmarking and continuous improvement strategy across all social responsibility pillars, including philanthropic, employee giving, sponsorships, employee volunteerism, and employee assistance programs
  • Support the Executive Leadership Team to understand the emerging ESG trends, risks and opportunities to inform corporate strategy and demonstrate how the company is responding, where its gaps are and opportunities to leverage the company's position for sustainable and responsible growth
  • Act as a strategic counselor on a wide range of ESG/CSR topics, manage work streams and teams on program execution, including material development and oversight
  • Experience managing all aspects of program launches, including messaging and materials
  • Proven expertise in building and nurturing relationships with ESG/CSR leaders and influencers

What You Bring To The Role

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10 years experience successfully developing and leading impactful DE&I programs
  • Minimum 7 years experience building, implementing and evolvoing CSR or sustatinability strategy development
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in the area of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
  • Advanced knowledge of top-tier media, and well-developed skills in building and maintaining traditional and digital media relationships including experience and fluency in social media and social media engagement
  • Direct work experience navigating cultural differences, gender equity, religious tolerance, structural racism, ageism, gender identity and expression, ethnicity, sexual orientation and disability
  • Demonstrated ability in establishing relevant CSR-related metrics and a track record of exceeding goals
  • Embedding sustainability in organizational culture and linking sustainability to financial performance
  • Mobilizing internal and external stakeholders and resources on collaborative sustainability innovations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Sustainability Management, or equivalent
