WHAT YOU WILL EXEREIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Support VP of I&D to create communication & marketing strategies to expand I&D brand internally & externally
  • Serve as a member of the I&D Advisory Council to drive progress on global initiatives
  • Actively represent nVent in external professional affiliations related to I&D
  • Benchmark best practices, lead development and execution of external I&D surveys
  • Manage growth and maturity strategy to advance Employee Resource Groups to become Business Resource Groups
  • Develop tools & resources to promote inclusion and manage content on I&D SharePoint site
  • Provide internal consultation/coaching to advance I&D throughout the organization



YOU HAVE:

  • Academic background in HR, Legal, Social Work, Communications or other
    • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience in or with
    • 5+ years demonstrated experience managing I&D programs, procedures in a corporate environment
    • Demonstrated experience managing and leading projects
    • Global experience a plus
  • Skills
    • A passion for advancing diversity, equity and inclusion
    • Strong leadership, problem solving, active listening, oral and written communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to inspire trust and confidence working with I&D topics
