Director, Engagement and Inclusion 

Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry and we’re looking for a Senior Manager, Engagement and Inclusion to join our Talent Development team. If you are excited by technology that has the power to handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per second; collect tens of billions of events each day; and evaluate thousands of data-points in real-time all while responding in just a few milliseconds, then IAS is the place for you!

As the Director, Engagement and Inclusion you will identify, evaluate, and implement solutions for key Engagement and DEI priorities, while benchmarking external methodologies, current and future trends, and creative solutions from the marketplace

What you’ll get to do:

  • Create, implement, and drive IAS long-term effectiveness of DEI strategies and Talent Engagement programs throughout the talent lifecycle (hiring, performance management, compensation, career development, engagement, and retention).
  • Analyze data to help identify trends, insights, and gaps to inform strategy; develop and insightfully report out metrics that measure progress and the effectiveness of our diversity and inclusion strategy.
  • Advise, coach, and guide all levels of employees to build cultural competence
  • Own our Engagement Survey and create actionable and measurable next steps for Leadership and HR teams to continue to build a highly engaged workforce
  • Continually assesses the effectiveness and competitiveness of programs (including DEI, Compliance Training, Building a Better Place, Mentorship, etc) practices by leveraging industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices.

You should apply if you have most of this experience: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in a leadership position implementing holistic DEI recruitment and talent management strategies and 5+ years of general program management experience 
  • A track record of success driving DEI strategy with positive results
  • Impeccable integrity and professional ethics
  • Previous HR experience and thoughtful understanding of HR practices and talent management processes, including performance management, internal mobility, engagement, and retention
  • Ability to operate as an effective, thoughtful partner to multiple functions within the People Team and the broader organization.

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

What does your typical day look like?

A typical day involves checking in on client performance, pulling reports, answering questions, & ultimately acting as the face of IAS to my set of clients. I like to think of the Customer Success Manager role as a middle-person between our clients & the solutions needed. The key is not to have all the answers, but to know where you can find them.

I joined IAS in April 2020, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my career. How do you make yourself accessible to the rest of the team?

It's more important than ever to have open channels of communication. We hold weekly virtual town halls where we keep everyone updated on important company news, but more importantly, open our leadership team up for questions. We have several open Slack channels where the team can ask about anything - from my US Open picks to our latest policies.
