  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of human resources work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Management, Education/Learning/Organizational Effectiveness, Human Resources or related field
  • Advanced certifications and coursework related to learning design and delivery, talent management, coaching and other talent related areas.
  • Experience in a global corporate role.
  • Ability to think strategically and systematically
  • Coaching skills including the ability to establish trusting and open relationships with employees.



Salary range: $160k-180k/year approximation (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location). Basic Qualifications

In this role you'll develop and lead strategies, approaches and capabilities around culture, onboarding, engagement, performance management, succession, talent management and organizational effectiveness.

This position will report to and work closely with the VP Talent, Technology & HR whilst partnering with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to understand business strategies and translate them into actionable programming that enables Howmet to achieve key performance results through its people.

What You'll Do

  • Consult with Business and HR Leaders to conduct needs analysis and deliver impactful talent programs, processes, tools, and technology. Conduct research and benchmarking to define/source solutions that meet corporate objectives.
  • Partner with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion teams to embed inclusive leadership into all processes and programs.
  • Design, develop and deliver talent management and development programs to align to the overall corporate talent management strategy, ensure employee engagement and support critical role succession planning.
  • Align performance management objectives and strategy to corporate performance philosophy and compensation practices.
  • Deliver training, communication, and tools to assist HR teams in communicating, executing monitoring talent initiatives for overall company impact.
  • Partner with HR technology teams to continuously align business processes and technology platforms, co-define/approve prioritization of technology initiatives to ensure the operational efficiency and adoption of those systems.
  • Serve as Talent/Learn COE PMO approver/lead.
  • Consult with Global HR customers to validate corporate system requirements and propose solutions that meet their daily work objectives and help them make decisions.
  • Approve, create, and manage policies, procedures, and work instructions for standard processes across the talent management & development function.
  • Recommend, advise, and define corporate investments in program improvements, resourcing, and prioritization.
  • Define the corporate talent management portfolio. Approves program plans and activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and work plans with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Establish and oversee corporate-level talent and succession planning activities.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to co-define onboarding and other talent planning initiatives.
  • Facilitate cross-business planning initiatives related to talent.
  • Develop talent team capability through individual and team development and organizational design.
  • Manage staffing/ allocation of corporate talent management initiatives to include staffing, workplans, subcontractors, and vendors.
